ATSC is the organization that defines how broadcasters transmit television signals.
Most of us have been in ATSC 1.0 since 2009. The move to ATSC 3.0 is upon us and bringing a basketful of enhancements. Namely marked improvements in resolution and audio, but the most impressive feature is the blended digital transmission, working both over-the-air and digitally via internet connections.
